Hello Everyone,

I am a B.Tech (IT) fresher of 2011. I have done a software testing certification and write now i am working in a company as Software Engineer Testing. I got an offer to work for their client as a Customer Support Engineer. So i am in a bit of confusion whether to accept that offer or not, i am not sure about the working of a customer support engineer. I want to be in Software Industry inspite of going as a customer support engineer. I think my testing knowledge will get wasted. Please guide me.

Hi,
It is purely up to you. If you are good in testing and having passion in testing career, don't switch.

Wishes..!! :)

Hiya,

Don't make that swap, you've made a great career choice, I've stayed in software testing for over 20 years (and counting), I've travelled to many countries and worked with some incredible testers from many different countries.

Would your alternate job give you that kind of opportunity?

Steve.
